The Number One Reason Why People Put Off Organizing Their Photographs:
Feeling overwhelmed by the enormity of the task.
This probably comes as no surprise to you, but "feeling overwhelmed" is probably the most common reason why people put off organizing their photographs.
What is surprising though, is that most of the time, the decision to procrastinate isn't a conscious one. You see . . . The sheer volume of photographs is enough to drive most people into a state of happy ignorance.
Perhaps, you've tried this yourself. You simply pretend that the problem doesn't exist, even as you continue to stuff your photographs into desk drawers, boxes or any other spare corner you
can find.
You've probably discovered that this "system" appears to work pretty well; until the guilt settles in. Now, you would think that the guilt might move you into action. But the truth is, it's hard to get motivated to do ANYTHING when it feels like you can't even begin to make a dent!
